Hey there!
What’s happening this week?
We love user research. It’s the best tool in the PM toolkit to understand and connect with users, and view them as humans rather than data points. User research is also expensive, and a well crafted research study takes time and effort. This post explores when I use user research, and when I prefer to fall back on data (or do both).
Tips on Continuous Learning with Scott Gartenberg
How do you continue learning throughout your PM career? What do you do today that makes you a better PM tomorrow? Scott writes about his continuous learning process in this post. I’m a fan of Scott’s writing - he writes genuine product stories and derives learnings from his own experiences. I would recommend checking out his posts here.
An update on FoundIt
FoundIt is moving to a once every two week cadence. Writing great quality content is hard, and I don’t want to compromise the quality of my writing for the sake of rapidly publishing content. Writing once every two weeks gives me the headspace and time to think, revise, and proofread my work. This doesn’t mean you’ll hear from me only twice a month though - I’ll still keep sending you summaries of great chats with product folks, event invitations, and some of the best things I read on the interwebs!
Until next time,
Pranav.
